Who we are looking for:
The Growth and Development Specialist supports the design, coordination, and delivery of onboarding and professional development initiatives across the Retail Division. This role partners closely with the Sr. Director of Talent and Onboarding to drive department efficiencies, strengthen skill development for sales and operations teams, and support improved performance outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings foundational mortgage industry knowledge, a working understanding of adult learning principles, and strong technical proficiency. This individual is highly comfortable working across Microsoft and enterprise platforms and can confidently translate systems and processes into practical, real-world learning experiences.
What you’ll do:
- Support the development and delivery of onboarding and ongoing training programs
- Create engaging learning materials, job aids, guides, and digital resources
- Apply adult learning principles to ensure training is practical, learner-focused, and immediately applicable
- Translate technical workflows into clear, user-friendly documentation and training content
- Maintain and organize training assets within SharePoint and other internal platforms
- Utilize Monday.com to manage workflows, track projects, and create automations to create team efficiencies
- Leverage Salesforce data to support recruiting, onboarding, reporting, and development initiatives
- Monitor training participation, feedback, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide ongoing support to team members navigating systems, tools, and operational processes
Technology & Systems Focus
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) with working knowledge of Copilot
- Monday.com (high proficiency preferred; certification preferred) for workflow, project, and process management
- Salesforce (navigation, reporting, cadence management, and supporting end-user adoption)
- Canva for creating professional, engaging training and communication materials

Required Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of the mortgage industry, loan lifecycle, and retail lending environment
- Understanding of basic adult learning principles (engagement, reinforcement, practical application)
- Above-average technical aptitude with productivity and learning tools; ability to quickly adapt to new systems
- Experience translating systems or workflows into clear training materials and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- 3–6 years of experience in mortgage, training, onboarding, enablement, or systems support roles
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the mortgage or retail lending environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered
Preferred Qualifications
- Monday.com certification or advanced hands-on experience
- Experience supporting onboarding, enablement, or professional development within mortgage or financial services
- Familiarity with LMS platforms or webinar delivery
- Experience supporting sales or retail mortgage teams
