Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships in the advertiser and agency sector
- Serve as the key day to day point of contact for key accounts
- Proactively engage with key advertiser and agency stakeholders on commercial initiatives
- Support commercial leads in achieving revenue targets for the commercial broadcasters and related broadcast entities
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analyses
- Assist Nielsen Operations with analyses of data to support the role out of key strategic projects
- Work closely with cross-functional teams like Operations, Data Science, Finance and Legal, to align on business opportunities and needs
- Stay updated on technological advancements and explore their potential applications
- A working understanding of all Nielsen Media products and solutions
Requirements and Skills
- Tertiary education in Media, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in agency or advertiser area
- Strong understanding of the AU media industry and current market trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in relevant software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, data analytics platforms)
- Sales tool proficiency - SAP/Salesforce, Sales prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator), lead enrichment tools (e.g., Zoominfo), Sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach);
- Ability to prioritize against multiple client demands
- Seeks opportunities and supports company initiatives to grow revenue
- Strong skills across Google suite
