The role will be a key member of the Global Finance team, working closely with the rest of the Global Tax team and local Finance Directors across Europe.
Location for this position:
Stockholm, Sweden. Additionally, we fully encourage a hybrid working model. We see that hybrid work, where we as employees can work either from home or from the office, creates opportunities to perform and work effectively in virtual and real environments. Your key responsibilities will be
- Act as key point of contact to provide technical and strategic advice on tax accounting, reporting and related queries across all jurisdictions of the group, working with local finance and legal teams as well as external advisors
- Lead, develop and implement key tax strategies and risk mitigation measures, especially related to tax accounting issues connected to OECD Pillar 2 compliance
- Review and analyse tax reporting and develop new and improved processes
- Forecasting and analysis of the Group’s effective tax rate and cash taxes across all jurisdictions
- Analyse and advise on tax rates to be used in investment decisions
- Ensure quality of group level tax accounting and external reporting
- Provide support to, primarily, the Swedish entities of the group regarding tax calculations and tax return processes, focusing especially on interest limitation rules
- Provide tax support in relation to our ongoing ERP transformation
- Participate in M&A and investment transactions, working with tax and structuring related workstreams
- Monitor key international tax trends, especially in relation to financial services, investments and asset management and be able to operationalize these trends together with our Investments Finance team
- Partake in ongoing Tax Audits, legal processes and queries across all jurisdictions
- Provide ad hoc tax advice and participate in groupwide transformation projects

Your qualifications
We think you have
- A relevant university degree, preferably a master’s degree in business or law
- 4-8 years from a similar role, preferably from a Big 4 accounting firm or similar inhouse role in a multinational corporation
- Significant knowledge and experience in Tax Accounting, Tax Controlling and Financial Reporting
- Significant knowledge and experience in Tax Compliance for public, multinational companies
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral in English
- We expect all our applicants to have orderly finances
- In addition, the following qualifications are considered beneficial, but not mandatory:
- Experience working with M&A and complex multinational investment structures
- Financial services or asset management experience
- Experience working with ERP systems
