We are looking for a Group Payroll Administrator to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the Group. You will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining accurate payroll data, deductions and statutory filings. Working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers, you will help ensure payroll processes are delivered to a high standard of accuracy, compliance and efficiency.

About The Role
  • Process end-to-end monthly payroll for employees across multiple group entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes to pay and benefits deductions
  • Collaborate with the external payroll providers on various jurisdictions and Human Resources to ensure a smooth, accurate, and timely payroll process.
  • Manage all payroll-related tax contributions and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Finance and Control (FC) team to facilitate timely payments
  • Calculate and process statutory payments (e.g. SSP, SMP, SPP) and pension contributions in line with regulations
  • Prepare and submit RTI returns, P60s, P45s and other statutory filings to HMRC
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers in a timely, professional manner
  • Reconcile payroll reports against the general ledger and support month-end payroll reporting

What Success Looks Like
  • Demonstrable experience processing payroll in a multi-entity or group environment working alongside payroll providers in various jurisdictions
  • Working knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NI, statutory payments and pension auto-enrolment is a plus
  • Experience with payroll software (e.g. Sage, ADP, ResourceLink or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail with numerical data
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion and in line with GDPR
Desirable Experience (Optional):
  • CIPP qualification (or working towards one)
  • Experience processing payroll across multiple countries or currencies
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll integrations
