The Group Manager-Warehouse oversees comprehensive warehouse management activities, ensuring cGMP compliance, improving operational processes, and leading cross-functional teams to enhance performance and safety standards.

Role Responsibilities
Warehouse Management activities.
  • Material receipt, storage and related documentation.
  • Material dispensing and related documentation.
  • Material issuance and related documentation.
  • Semi-finished goods receipt, storage and issuance.
  • Finished goods receipts, storage and distribution and maintained with cGMP related documentation.
  • Follow cGMP and ensure compliance with lay down SOP's, Quality systems, Safety systems.
  • Maintain with Good housekeeping and records in his area.
  • Be aware of clean room procedures and maintain the cleanliness of the clean rooms
  • Implementation of identified initiatives.
  • Maintain personnel hygiene as per procedures.
  • Compliance to Company integrity principles at all stages of operations.
  • Online documentation as per cGMP and GDP.

GDP and GLP practices
  • Ensure Good Documentation Practices as per ALCOA principles.
  • Ensure 5S practices in workplace.

Operational Continuous Improvement / IMEX support
  • Trouble shooting.
  • Cost improvement projects.
  • Support on Warehouse related projects for implementation.

Team Management
  • Improve team performance through skills enhancement.
  • Setting up team priorities and performance objectives, reviewing the employee performance and leading the decision-making process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.

eQMS and PDOCS
  • Initiation of Incidents / carry out investigations for on time closure.
  • Document review in PDOCS

Training Management
  • Training completion within the stipulated time frame.
  • Ability to present training programs and coach shop floor warehouse personnel

People Management
  • Engage and inspire the team on performance expectations and coach the team to meet those expectations using Coaching Skill principles.
  • Focus on Safety and GMP Compliance as operational priorities and as performance measures that should be included in metrics.
  • Know the processes and procedures, including the principles and practices of good data management (ALCOA), and be able to guide, advise and coach the team.
  • Be accountable for the Good Data Management and Data integrity understanding and performance of the team.
  • Effectively monitor the actions of the team. Ensure an active daily presence in the GMP work area to observe the work activity and practices.
  • Be observant, investigate and report actions or behaviors that may negatively impact the desired outcome of the GMP process or activity.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement efforts, where applicable.
  • Be a role model to support a positive compliance culture.
  • Review the content of all Leader Led Conversations and, on an annual basis, conduct two 'Leader Led Conversations' with the teams aimed at fostering a culture that supports compliance with procedures, including good data management.
  • Be vigilant for potential actions or behaviors that could result in breaches of GMP compliance or Data Integrity principles.

Essential Requirements
Preferred Education/ Qualification
Graduate / Postgraduate in Pharmacy or Graduate/Post Graduate (Preferably Science).
Experience
10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, understanding the Quality, Regulatory, cGMP and Safety operations
Core Competencies
  • Good knowledge in warehouse management and Materials controls.
  • Knowledge of Receipt, storage, issue and handling materials.
  • Knowledge on material sampling, dispensing and issuance activities.
  • Knowledge on environmental monitoring activities.
  • Knowledge on semi-finished goods management
  • Knowledge on Good warehousing practices.
  • SAP EWM knowledge for material management.
  • Exposure in regulatory audits(US FDA/ MHRA).

  • Technical writing and document review.
