Choosing this role, you will work in the Test & Deploy Team within our Service organization. This team ensures smooth testing and deployment of new software releases of our Vanderlande developed Material Handling Software at our customer sites in the Warehousing domain.

What will you be doing?
As a Group Lead Deployment team within Service, your primary focus will be leading a team of deployment engineers and deployment managers. You will facilitate their day-to-day work, resolve impediments, and develop and maintain the capabilities of your group to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Test Management and Change Coordination to guarantee seamless end-to-end deployments of new software features, bug fixes, and variations.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic, result-driven Group Lead with a hands-on attitude to:
Lead, inspire and grow a team of deployment managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Support the team in the development and implement deployment concepts based on risk-oriented choices, aligned with Vanderlande CI/CD strategies.
Guide in defining, reviewing, and communicating comprehensive runbooks with step-by-step procedures for deployment.
Oversee and guide deployments within production environments, ensuring effective customer management.
Establish policies, procedures, and requirements for the deployment approach, including relevant tooling.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper staffing and support the professional development of team members.
Oversee people scheduling, manage escalations, and prioritize work effectively.
About the team
Within Vanderlande, Services is responsible for the Life-Cycle Services development, execution, and customer services of Material Handling Solutions worldwide. As Group Lead Deployment team within the Test & Deploy Team you are part of an internationally operating service organization. Apart from the traditional service delivery aligned with ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management) we are also dedicated to develop ourselves as a business partner for our customers.
What do we ask from you?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, slight preference for a technical background, but not required;
Experience in managing a team, preferably experience with a partially remote team;
Knowledge of test and deployment strategies/methods/risk analysis and relevant tooling in Warehouse Solutions;
Experience in working with agile development methods/teams including DevOps, CI/CD etc;
Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary and highly international project organization;
Advanced verbal and written skills in English, able to communicate and guide an international team.
What we offer
This position offers a competitive salary range of €6.000 to €7.200 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
