Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
- Build and improve semantic layers and data models that support reporting and analytics outcomes.
- Develop ELT pipelines using cloud data platforms, ideally Azure Databricks, with Python or SQL.
- Work across a variety of projects and support production fixes when needed.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, following team standards and best practice.
- Put safety, quality, and continuous improvement front and centre in the way you work.

- At least 2 years’ relevant post-tertiary industry experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Experience working with cloud data platforms, ideally Azure Databricks.
- Strong Python or SQL capability, with experience developing ELT pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD, GIT, Azure DevOps, and documentation tools such as Confluence.
- A collaborative, proactive approach, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
