Group Financial Controller

Prezzee, the forefront of digital gifting innovation, is seeking a dynamic Group Financial Controller to drive financial control, reporting, and operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in shaping Prezzee's financial future and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

About The Role

Financial Control:

• implement and supervise finance policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Lead initiatives to enhance reporting, controls, and adherence to group policies.
• Conduct risk management processes collaboratively to mitigate financial risks effectively.
• Engage with senior leaders across the business to understand and respond to new products, expansions, and initiatives impacting regulatory and financial control.

Financial Reporting:

• Act as a centre of excellence for technical accounting matters, maintaining updated knowledge of standards.
• Manage the preparation of annual financial reports and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with tax and financial regulatory reporting, maintaining financial integrity.
• Implement transfer pricing and other global accounting policies
• Collaborate with FP&A to deliver insightful management reports and analyses.

Financial Operations:

• Improve processes and controls surrounding payment flows and stock reconciliations.
• Oversee treasury management, optimising liquidity.
• Supervise a team of accountants, both internally and offshore, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
• In conjunction with FP&A, oversee all budgeting processes in line with delegated authorities’ approvals.

What We're Looking For:

• CPA/CA/ACA with extensive experience in financial leadership roles.
• Experience with scale-up companies and/or technology companies
• Large accounting firm experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for Workday. 
• Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organisational goals and drive sustainable growth.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
