Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity is a permanent part-time/casual role facilitating the inpatient groups at Ramsay Clinic Albert Road. The applicant needs to have demonstrated confidence in group facilitation and the ability to engage patients across age groups and a variety of mental health diagnoses including Depression, anxiety, personality disorders and trauma-related disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia.
The successful candidate must be available Wednesday and Fridays (Permanent part time). There may also be opportunities to work as part of the outpatient/day program team and inpatient on a casual basis.
You will also be participating in the ongoing development of these programs and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support all patients under these unique programs. As part of the Allied Health team, you will take a patient centred and dynamic approach to the care of our patients.
You will have the ability to plan and organise skills groups, along with a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism.
You will need to demonstrate:
- Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or equivalent mental health care professional registration such as Counsellor or Mental Health Social Worker, Occupational therapist, Psychotherapist.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychotherapy, Group Facilitating, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
- Training and experience facilitating group therapy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to facilitate and deliver skill group content with creativity and flexibility
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment

Skills Required
