About the organization and role
All financial information for Electrolux Group is reported into, and then consolidated by, Group Accounting and Reporting. The team provides timely financial reporting of high quality, prepares the consolidated accounts for the Group and produces the financial sections of the annual and quarterly reports. Group Accounting & Reporting is also responsible for the systems used for reporting and consolidation.
We are now looking for a new member to join our Group Accounting & Reporting team, at the global headquarters in Stockholm. In the role as Group Accounting System Controller, you will report directly to the VP Group Accounting & Reporting and become part of a committed team, passionate about group accounting and financial reporting.

A typical day at work
In your role, you will participate in many of the activities performed by Group Accounting, i.e. accounting, reporting and consolidation, but mostly from a system perspective. Electrolux uses AARO for financial reporting and consolidation as well as for inter-company matching and lease accounting. In addition, we are currently implementing a new system solution to produce external financial reports.
You will participate in system administration covering day-to-day activities such as user administration, period set-up, creating and maintaining reporting forms and packages, user support etc. You will be involved in the monthly reporting and consolidation process, cooperating with the whole team in assuring timeliness and high quality of reporting, as well as consolidation and supporting group entities in reporting issues etc. On top of that, you will be involved in projects related to e.g. system upgrades. You will contribute to the continuous development of the reporting and consolidation process, as well as improving the efficiency and quality of processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the administration and maintenance of Group Accounting’s system solutions for financial reporting and consolidation
- Provide system support to users in system-related issues as well as reporting issues
- Grow into becoming a system expert when it comes to system administration and support in reporting issues
- Participate in the group’s reporting and consolidation process, assuring that our systems support correctness and on-time delivery in the group’s monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Specific responsibility for certain areas or steps in the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and consolidation
- Participate in the production of the Group’s external reports (quarterly and annual reports)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics or similar, preferably with additional education in computer & system science
- 3-5 years of experience from working with accounting/auditing/financial systems
- Strong Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written
- You are able to work from the office normally 3/5 days a week, but occasionally more around closings
Advantageous merits
- Experience from group accounting at a multinational, listed corporate
- Experience from a position with a system administrative focus
- Knowledge of the IFRS framework and accounting in general
- Experience of working with month-end closing and consolidation procedures
- Experience of AARO reporting and consolidation systems
