Job Description

As a Grounds Supervisor, you will:

  • Operate pickup truck and/or a golf cart in daily work.
  • Empties all trash cans at pools, three story buildings and team member parking lot as needed.
  • Pick up trash from curbs on property and surrounding areas to highway.
  • Sweeps curbs and sidewalks.
  • Cleans grounds and removes litter.
  • Empty trash cans in the public area buildings
  • Empty dumpsters.
  • Operates trash compactor.
  • Empties recycle bins.
  • Breaks down cardboard items and places in appropriate containers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state driving license.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver’s License to drive company golf carts.
  • Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
