About the role
Responsible for executing and coordinating various activities within Trustmark's Information Security Program. Working closely with key business units to implement risk management frameworks, evaluate risks, and provide guidance on risk-related matters. Additionally, they serve as a liaison between the business units and the Information Security Office, ensuring that the organization applies the appropriate risk management practices.Key Accountabilities
Risk Assessment and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations using industry standard approaches such as NIST 800-30 and NIST 3800-37
Identify, document, and analyze security and technology risks across Trustmark's Risk Management framework.
Develop and oversee the risk acceptance processes and risk register to ensure risks are documented and accepted at appropriate organizational levels
Update maintain risk management documentation including risk management policies, standards operating procedures
Participate in and support audits, helping to remediate findings
Prepare and present security risk reports to business and IT stakeholders
Serve as an advisor to business units on matters related to security and technology risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise awareness about Trustmark policies, standards, processes, programs, and best practices related to risk management.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 – 4 years or related job experience
Knowledge of IT Risk Management and ability to communicate the benefits of a risk-based approach to IT and business partners.
Basic knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule, NYDFS, and other federal and state security laws.
Knowledge of NIST CSF and other security and risk related frameworks
Preferred Certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CISA, CTPRP/CTPRA, etc.
Strong, effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to interact with and present to leaders both in IT and across the organization.
The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):
$66,772.00 - $124,005.00 per yearThe final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for commission. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
