What’s the scope of this role?
We’re currently looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join our growing company! In this role, you’ll collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, writers, editors, and subject matter experts to create and design a variety of visually rich assets to support presentations, workbooks, handouts, user guides, infographics, and brochures.
Responsibilities
- Leverage knowledge of graphic design principles to increase usability and transform complex written information into clear and precise visual communication.
- Visualize business and technical concepts, relationships, and processes to create high quality, reusable training materials.
- Create, conceptualize, and improve upon slides and presentations in PowerPoint.
- Apply graphic and instructional design principles to a variety of training projects that may be large or complex in scope.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, trainers, writers, editors, and subject matter experts to schedule reviews and make updates accordingly.
- Recommend different formats, layouts, and visual assets to improve the learning experience for Netcracker end users and other training participants.
- Build excellent relationships across teams and projects, and mentor team members to teach best practices and techniques in graphic and instructional design.
- Follow and maintain Netcracker graphic and instructional design standards and templates.
What are the skills required?
Core Skills
- Strong PowerPoint design skills (layouts, master slides, diagrams, executive-ready presentations)
- Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent)
- Ability to create:
- Web banners and digital assets
- Diagrams, infographics, and simple visual explanations
- Brochures, one-pagers, and marketing collateral
- Event-related design deliverables, e.g. booth design
- Advanced/fluent oral and written English
Experience
- 3–7 years of graphic design experience (flexible depending on portfolio)
- Experience working with marketing and product teams
- Experience supporting senior leadership / executives preferred
- Background in IT, software, B2B, or technology-driven companies preferred
Working Style
- Can work from high-level input and deliver polished results independently
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Able to handle multiple requests in parallel
Brand & Quality
- Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency
- Ability to adapt visuals for different audiences (executive, customer, internal)
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent practical experience
- Strong portfolio required (presentations, diagrams, digital and print assets)
Nice to Have
- Basic understanding of web formats and accessibility
- Experience with complex or technical content
- Motion graphics or light animation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Information Design, Branding, or a related field.
- Certification in Adobe Creative Cloud tools a plus.
