About the role:

SailPoint is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Brand Creative team in designing and implementing world-class campaigns, initiatives, and projects. You would be a member of the greater Marketing team tasked with creating compelling creative ideas as well as maintaining and supporting our existing brand. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and a fast learner, flexible to work on new projects.
 
 Description:

• Create and maintain digital and print brand materials – advertisements, email designs, event materials and booths, marketing collateral, presentations, social assets, web layouts and graphics, videos, and more.
• Works well independently and with team and displays excellent follow through and self-initiative.
• Elevate our brand by creating and maintaining a high visual bar across all design touchpoints.
• Pitch creative ideas, employ visual storytelling, and collaborate with the team to launch projects.
• Work on design projects from ideation through completion, including the coordination of internal or external resources.
• Partner with creative and marketing team members to find creative solutions that improve workflows and efficiencies.
• Receive and employ creative critiques and feedback from stakeholders for adjustments on designs.
• Set priorities, follow workflows, and manage time to deliver before deadlines.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy, design consistency, application, and performance.
• Stay up to date on the latest design trends and tools to bring new ideas to our work.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Mac OS
• Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, XD) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience with User Interface tools (Sketch, Figma, Invision)
• Experience with project management tools (Asana)
• Proficiency in design layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, and print
• Knowledge of best practices and design standards for advertising, email, events, interactive design, social media, and web
• Strong inclination for organization, process adherence, and attention to detail
• Compelling portfolio that showcases a wide range of creative projects

Preferred:

• Minimum of 3 years of design experience at in-house creative team or creative agency
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Design, Art, Marketing, or relevant fields
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Skilled in 3D, Illustration, Video & Animation, UI/UX and/or Web

The Path to Success

Within the first 30 days:

• SailPoint overview: Learn about the company’s history, mission, core values, and product offerings
• Meet the team: Introduce yourself to key stakeholders across our team, the marketing organization and local regional leaders
• Mentorship: Meet your onboarding buddy and set up regular meetings & 1:1s with your manager
• Review recent and current creative projects to understand visual tone and expectations
• Tools: Familiarize yourself with the tools provided and our specific setup - such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, SharePoint/One Drive, and Asana
• Assets, templates, and resources: Familiarize yourself with our workflows, processes, organization systems, and templates
• Projects: Start work on a few light projects overseen by the management of our team
• Shadowing: Shadow Brand Creative team members to learn about them and their processes
   

60 days:

• Projects: Work independently on assigned projects overseen by the management of our team
• Collaborate cross-functionally with content and web partners on assigned creative requests
• Sit in on key team meetings and stakeholder check-ins to observe workflows
• Tools: Become an expert on our tools, systems, assets, and templates.
• Ensure all assets are exported, named, and delivered according to process
• Feedback: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from peers, mentors and management

90 days:

• Own start-to-finish design projects with limited oversight
• Proactively contribute ideas for improving creative execution, workflows, or brand expression
• Start building strong creative rationale for design choices
• Partner with stakeholders across marketing to refine requests and elevate outcomes
• Contribute to team critiques and offer constructive feedback to others
• Work toward being a go-to resource for a specific channel or project type (e.g., web, events, campaigns)
