Your Responsibilities:
- Create engaging visual content that supports digital marketing initiatives, with an eye towards creating nimble, compelling social-first content
- Experienced at development of motion graphics and animation
- Ensure all work developed is aligned to our brand standards
- Develop social-first content that's engaging, timely, and platform-optimized
- Collaborate closely with copywriters to ensure fully integrated experiences for our customers
- Work within existing email design system while also identifying opportunities for innovation
- Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback professionally
- Balance project pace with precision, prioritizing time effectively across multiple assignments
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, exploration, and production workflows
Your Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience or recent graduate with strong portfolio
- Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to work within system limitations
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. Figma, Adobe, etc.) for creating a wide range of digital graphics, including static and animated social content.
- Proficiency in motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) for animation and dynamic content creation.
- Portfolio demonstrating production design capabilities, including examples of social-first designs
- Strong design fundamentals and ability to articulate design decisions
- Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and iteration
- Balanced approach to project management - knowing when to prioritize speed vs. detailed execution
- Understanding of how copy and design work together to create effective marketing
- Eagerness and capability in conceptualizing and creating engaging social media content that is relevant, timely, and optimized for different platforms.
Bonus Skills:
- Video editing experience (Premiere Pro or similar)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Experience or interest in partnering with UX designers
Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first year salary range is $81,000 -$93,000 . Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees.
- The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.
