WORK TYPE: Onsite

LOCATION DETAILS: 4 days of work onsite in Farmers Branch Headquarters, Friday is a flex day.

WORK HOURS: Full time, Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Graphic Designer will design within a category or product segment to utilize current artwork, manipulate current graphics, and create original graphic and/or textile concepts/designs that appropriately reflect the ethos of BSN Sports and Varsity Brands in addition to meeting the needs of the customer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Effectively use computerized systems in the design process.
• Act as a graphic designer working team to ensure the feasibility of designs, merchandising needs, and product creation dates/dates are met, design tools are effectively utilized, and cross-functional teamwork occurs as appropriate.
• Demonstrates an understanding of products, product lines, product development process, and the specific markets in which BSN SPORTS and VARSITY BRANDS do business.
• Execute specific administrative duties related to the department.
• Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Effectively use computerized systems in the design process.
• Act as a graphic designer working team to ensure the feasibility of designs, merchandising needs, and product creation dates/dates are met, design tools are effectively utilized, and cross-functional teamwork occurs as appropriate.
• Transform 2D garment patterns into realistic, interactive 3D models using Clo3D, Blender, and other industry-leading software. 
• Optimize models and textures for real-time rendering and web applications. 
• Maintain an organized file structure to ensure smooth collaboration and version control. 
• Help refine our 3D workflow to increase efficiency and quality. 
• Work closely with designers and developers to push the limits of customization and user experience. 
• Demonstrates an understanding of products, product lines, product development process, and the specific markets in which BSN SPORTS and VARSITY BRANDS do business.
• Execute specific administrative duties related to the department.
• Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Design.
• 2 years of relevant apparel graphics experience in design preferred.
• Proven exceptional ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development, and layout.
• Ability to apply these skills innovatively that elevate product excellence when requested.
• Strong 3D modeling, texturing, and UV mapping skills. 
• Experience in Clo3D or Marvelous Designer for garment construction. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. It is largely a sedentary role, with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The ability to sit or stand for long periods during meetings and while operating office equipment, PCs, laptops, and telephones will be required.
