Graphic Designer 

Please read this whole post. This is an in-office position based in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Remote work is not available for this role. 

 

As a Graphic Designer, you will support the Corporate Marketing Department by creating accessible, memorable, and high-impact advertising and marketing materials for internal and external use. This role will contribute to projects across the entire Kalahari portfolio, including resort marketing campaigns, digital advertising, social media initiatives, print collateral, brand development, convention sales support materials, special events, internal communications, and creative projects for other Kalahari-owned or managed assets. 

 

This position is designed for an experienced designer who has moved beyond the early-career stage and is ready to take ownership of projects, collaborate across departments, and help elevate the overall creative standard of a nationally recognized hospitality brand. 

 

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces feedback, manages multiple priorities with confidence, and enjoys transforming ideas into compelling visual stories across a wide variety of mediums. 

 

This position reports directly to the Corporate Design Director. 

 

For the right candidate, this role offers significant long-term growth potential, including opportunities to take on expanded creative leadership responsibilities and contribute to the future direction of the design team as the organization continues to grow. 

 

We do require that you have a background consisting of: 

 

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate, hospitality, tourism, agency, or similar creative environment.  
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Acrobat.  
  • Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects is preferred.  
  • Strong typography, layout, branding, and visual communication skills.  
  • Experience developing creative assets for both print and digital channels.  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate work.  
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines simultaneously.  
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders from multiple departments and levels of leadership.  
  • Familiarity with photography, image selection, and print production processes.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  
  • Experience mentoring junior designers, providing creative direction, or leading design projects is preferred.  
  • Hospitality, tourism, resort, entertainment, destination marketing, or lifestyle brand experience is helpful, but not required.
