About the Role
We're looking for a Graphic Design Intern who is passionate about design and excited to bring the Careem brand to life across multiple channels. This is your opportunity to learn by doing, surrounded by a team that moves fast and builds with heart.
This internship is ideal for someone who has a strong eye for aesthetics, is always observing good design in the wild, and is eager to understand how brand identity is expressed consistently yet creatively across platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Understand and absorb the Careem brand guidelines to ensure every visual created reflects our tone, personality, and purpose.
- Assist multiple Careem verticals (like Food, DineOut, Groceries, and Plus) by:
- Designing marketing visuals for our app (tiles, banners, promos)
- Creating CRM assets (e.g., WhatsApp and email creatives)
- Supporting social media campaigns with engaging, localized content
- Work with product, marketing, and content teams to execute concepts from brief to final asset.
- Participate in brainstorms and contribute ideas that merge visual impact with business goals.
- Be open to feedback and willing to iterate and improve designs rapidly.
What We’re Looking For
- You love design—you notice font choices, color palettes, and layout hierarchy in everyday life.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Photoshop (you don’t have to know all, but be eager to learn fast).
- You’re curious, proactive, and adaptable—willing to try new ideas and improve through feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when adapting assets for different platforms or screen sizes.
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Adobe Premiere)
