TITLE: Grants Financial Associate
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Grant and Contracts Director
CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: Executive Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of bachelor’s preferably in business or related field. Also, knowledge or familiarity with computerized accounting practices, procedures, and spreadsheet software programs. Preferable knowledge of federal, state, private, and local grants management.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor monthly grant financials, and communicate any findings to compliance specialist and finance director
- Assist compliance specialist with financial reporting
- Track budgeted expenditures and communicate with project directors if budget modifications are needed
- Assist the finance director with all budgets
- Prepare monthly budget status reports for project directors
- Assist Grant Director with budget modifications and carry forwards
- Assist Directors with grant budgets as needed
- Assist with grant close-out processes related to financial monitoring
- Backup to compliance specialist duties
- Assist with/complete any other job duties that may be assigned
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel and Word) for reporting and recordkeeping is a must
- Perform any other duties assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor.
