Grain Receiving

About the Role:

As Kalmbach Feeds continues to grow, we are looking for passionate, hard-working team members that live our values and help us create new ideas, serve customers, improve our processes, build teams, and manage our growth. This grain operations position is based out of Upper Sandusky, OH and is responsible for record keeping and loading/unloading of trucks. 

• You are happy to work the hours of 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm.
• You will operate safely within Kalmbach Feeds, policy, and procedures. 
• You will provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors with grain customers. 
• You will be an involved/engaged member of a team and be willing to act and think independently. 
• You will be scaling trucks and tracking inbound/outbound loads. 
• You will be receiving grain from customers/farmers 
• You will be grading grain (will be trained and certified on the job through the ODA). 

Who You Are: 

• Ability to problem solve and make decisions as needed. 
• Demonstrate self-starter and high initiative abilities. 
• Strong customer service orientation. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Good Attendance Record & Work Ethic. 
• Job will require a large degree of movement between computer, scale house, truck dump, and sampling station.
• Basic computer skills
