Graduate Reimbursement Administrator – Durban

What will you be doing?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate Reimbursement Administrator to support the effective management of medical-scheme reimbursement cases. In this role, you will help ensure that NPWT and PICO cases are submitted, followed up, approved, invoiced and claimed accurately and efficiently.
What will you need to be successful?
- Prepare and submit medical-scheme approval requests for NPWT and PICO cases.
- Follow up consistently on outstanding cases and approvals.
- Ensure approved cases are invoiced accurately and within the required timelines.
- Monitor cases through to the successful completion of the claims process.
- Help maintain a monthly case-decline rate below the required threshold.
- Manage reimbursement-related queries and process credit notes within the prescribed timelines.
- Maintain accurate case records and provide reliable administrative support.
- Complete all mandatory and assigned training within the required timeframes.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, such as Biology or Physiology, Nursing, Business or Marketing.
- A strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand clinical and reimbursement-related information.
- A clinical qualification or background in Nursing or Pharmacy would be advantageous.
- Previous exposure to medical-scheme reimbursement or case management would be advantageous.
- Strong administration, organisation and follow-up skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and remain disciplined without daily supervision.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
