Job DescriptionGraduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.
The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured rotation across Civil Engineering technical teams to develop a strong foundation in core disciplines.
- Assist senior Project Managers and Program Managers in overseeing project execution, scheduling, and reporting.
- Proactively identify project challenges and opportunities within your assigned scope. Collaborate with your team to analyze issues, explore alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
- Support decision-making by applying sound judgment and understanding the wider impact of project activities.
- Assist in managing resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced professionals, while also contributing to knowledge-sharing with peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other engineering disciplines
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no earlier than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
- If you hold a Master’s Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelor’s Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
- Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.

- Review of CVs, phone screening, assessments and technical interviews: June and July 2026
- Mobilization & visa processing: August - September
- Start Date: August - October
- Program Orientation: October 2026 (This includes an induction and meet-and-greet for the entire graduate cohort from all our offices in the ME)
