The Role
Power efficiency represents a vital design consideration for System-on-Chips (SoCs) across a broad spectrum of market segments, including battery-powered IoT, mobile and computing devices, automotive systems, artificial intelligence applications, and cloud server infrastructures. In this position, you will play an active role in ensuring that essential parameters for low-power design and architecture are consistently achieved throughout the SoC's design, verification, and production lifecycle
What you could be doing as a Power Analysis and Architecture Engineer?
  • Conducting innovative evaluations and pilot initiatives on new power analysis and modeling tools
  • Designing representative workloads, executing simulations, utilizing power analysis technologies, and assessing the effectiveness of power management strategies
  • Developing novel power models for various intellectual property components
  • Implementing power models to accurately reflect use-case power consumption within SoCs

We are looking for individuals who:
Hold (or are on track to hold) a Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree by the start date. (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome).
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
  • A focus on VLSI design coupled with keen interest in energy-efficient architecture
  • Strong foundational knowledge of Computer Architecture and Machine Learning, and demonstrated enthusiasm for artificial intelligence
  • Proficiency in automation and programming languages such as C++, Python, and Matlab
  • Experience and interest in simulation, emulation, and modeling
  • Motivation to engage with new tools and systems and accelerating pace with application of AI tools

Salary Range:
$116,300-$157,300 per year
