Job Description

Renesas is deploying a universal ticketing system – based on Atlassian products (JIRA / Confluence) for customer support worldwide: used daily by thousands of customers and Renesas Employees (Field Application Engineers & factory Application Engineers). As a member of the admin team, you will be responsible for a number of activities working under the supervision of an experienced admin team in a fast-moving, dynamic customer-focused organization.

We are seeking recent graduates in relevant discipline who are keen to develop their skills within the Atlassian eco-system, in a globally deployed, multi cultural and diverse environment, working with different groups across the world in both support / customer facing roles.

Responsibilities

  • General configuration of JIRA (JIRA Service Management and JIRA Software), Confluence
  • Creating /maintaining/configuring JIRA users/accounts.
  • Supporting upgrades/maintenance & security provision.
  • Working with plug-in suppliers from the Atlassian marketplace (configure/test/debug/deployment)
  • Support for resolving incidents / Root Cause Analysis & reporting out.
  • Create and update documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA
  • Migration & clean-up of legacy ticketing systems to be integrated into JIRA.
  • More advanced customization features such as developing scripts in order to extend JIRA functionality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Experience on Atlassian products either during study or early employment.
  • Understanding of concepts of workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, system and custom fields, reports and dashboards creation
  • Experience with Script Runner, Groovy Script for JIRA is welcome
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and ability to develop custom integrations
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with stakeholders
  • Self-organized with strong attitude of ownership and customer centricity
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
