Graduate Estimation Engineer - Electrical

Axium Global's MEP Design & Engineering Team consists of skilled professionals, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers with varied experience. The team delivers comprehensive Building Services Design Solutions to MEP clients across the world. Axium Global Pvt. Ltd. has successfully delivered MEP services for numerous projects over the years, including Hospitals, Airports, Stadia, Educational Institutions, Commercial Buildings, and Residential Developments.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to begin their career by working with leading MEP design consulting firms from Australia, the USA, and the UK, contributing to landmark international projects while receiving structured training and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Report to the Sr. Manager – MEP Design & Engineering.
  

• Assist in preparing project take-offs and quantity estimations for tender submissions.
  

• Learn to interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, schedules, and specifications.
  

• Support senior engineers in preparing electrical quantity take-offs and estimation documentation.
  

• Assist in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and project estimation reports.
  

• Develop knowledge of Electrical Building Services, including Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, Communications, Security, Audio Visual, and Nurse Call Systems.
  

• Learn and work with estimation and digital engineering software under guidance.
  

• Maintain project documentation and ensure estimation data accuracy.
  

• Coordinate with internal teams to meet project deadlines.
  

• Participate in client meetings and training sessions whenever required.
  

• Continuously learn international design standards, codes, and estimation practices followed in Australia, the USA, and the UK.
  

Additional Requirements

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  

• Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and building services.
  

• Willingness to learn estimation software and BIM technologies.
  

• Basic knowledge of Auto desk Revit will be an added advantage.
  

• Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferred.
  

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).
  

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  

• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to accept constructive feedback.
  

• Willingness to work on international projects and adapt to global engineering standards.
  

• Willingness to travel offshore for client training if required.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  

• Freshers (0–1 year of experience) are encouraged to apply.
  

• Internship or academic project experience in Electrical Design, MEP, BIM, or Estimation will be an added advantage.
  

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Electrical Building Services (Power, Lighting, Fire Alarm & ELV Systems).
  

• Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
  

• Familiarity with Auto desk Revit and AutoCAD.
  

• Exposure to Bluebeam, Auto desk Construction Cloud, Auto desk Takeoff, ConEst, or ProEst will be considered an added advantage but is not mandatory.
  

• Good learning aptitude and willingness to develop technical estimation skills.
