About the Role

We are seeking two recent Engineering Graduates to join our team, across any discipline but namely Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

The Graduate Engineers (Electrical, Civil or Mechanical) will follow established Engineering principles, develop production skills, learn to troubleshoot and gain expert knowledge of the product supply industry.

Having recently completed your qualification, you will put your theory into practice across multiple divisions of the business, gaining a holistic view of the organisation. You will have the opportunity to work with some of New Zealand’s leading brands, whilst gaining exposure to a local manufacturing environment.

This is an entry level, structured, 2-year Graduate Development programme, based at our Kawerau site.

What you will Do  

  • Develop and improve technical mastery skills in different areas

  • Work on Process Control and Total Productive Maintenance

  • Support and shadow experienced Engineers in daily tasks

  • Drive projects to support product supply improvements and deliverables

  • Monitor production processes and work methods

  • Collect, compile and analyse production data to identify opportunities to improve processes

Who You Are:

We are looking for new grads (graduated within the last 18 months) with an analytical mind and a passion for furthering their learning. To be successful, you’ll bring;

  • A degree in Engineering which you have recently completed

  • New Zealand Permanent Residency

  • A valid Drivers’ License

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A continuous improvement mindset, willing to further your learning
