About the Role
The Graduate Engineer will develop production skills, learn to troubleshoot and gain expert knowledge of the product supply industry.
Having recently completed your qualification (within the last 2 years), you will put your theory into practice across multiple divisions of business, gaining a holistic view of the organisation. You will have the opportunity to work with some of New Zealand’s leading brands, whilst gaining exposure to a local manufacturing environment.
This is an entry level, structured, 2-year Graduate Development programme, based at our Kawerau site. We are looking for new Grads with an analytical mind and a passion for furthering their learning. Although we are open to all Engineering disciplines, we are particularly interested in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineers.
What you will Do:
- Develop and improve technical mastery skills in different areas
- Work on Process Control and Total Productive Maintenance
- Support and shadow experienced Engineers in daily tasks
- Drive projects to support product supply improvements and deliverables
- Monitor production processes and work methods
- Collect, compile and analyse production data to identify opportunities to improve processes
To be considered for this role you will possess:
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronic) which you have recently completed
- New Zealand Permanent Residency
- A valid Drivers’ Licence
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- A continuous improvement mindset, willing to further your learning
