Academics:

We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and master’s degree in Geotechnical engineering or Rock Mechanics specialization to join our dynamic team.

Role description:

  • This position is ideal for recent postgraduates who are eager to build their career in the field of geotechnical profession.  
  • Understanding of principles of soil, rock, and groundwater engineering and application of them on real time and understanding of standards is required;  
  • Knowledge and experience with software tools such as AutoCAD, GeoSlope (Slope/w & Seep/w), Plaxis2D and FE, FDM and LEM gained through academic coursework or professional project work—will be an advantage.
  • General software skills such as Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint), AI tools (Chat GPT, CoPilot and other tools) are an added advantage.
  • Experience working on relevant projects during academics is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Having apatite to learn new AI tools and support on digitization and automation of regular works as an added advantage

Role accountabilities:

  • Design of geotechnical foundation systems, analyzing the Ground investigation data, data management using software tools and earth retention system
  • Demonstrate a sound theoretical understanding of design principles.
  • Experience using relevant software is an added advantage.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork skills and a keen eagerness to learn in a competitive environment.
  • Work effectively with the team, developing technical understanding through self-learning and collaboration with mentors.
  • Communicate and collaborate with global teams, including both junior and senior engineers.
  • Ensure work meets required standards and adheres to quality assurance procedures.
  • Understand and implement health and safety requirements in all tasks.
  • Develop an understanding of company systems and processes

Skills Required

  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Rock Mechanics specialization
  • Strong academic background in Civil Engineering
  • Understanding of soil, rock, and groundwater engineering principles and relevant standards

  • Excellent written and spoken English
