Client Services

Rimes utilizes technology to automatically retrieve, manage, transform, enrich, validate, and deliver financial data from a wide range of sources to over 350 clients. Client Services owns this process and serves as the interface between our clients, our platform, and the organization. Client Services comprises a team of more than 50 staff based in 9 global locations, performing a variety of client-facing functions.

This team oversees the delivery of 60,000+ data feeds daily. The Client Services first-line team proactively monitors exceptions based on timeliness and data quality in a top-down manner, alongside managing our clients’ ever-changing priorities and corresponding queries.

The Client Services second-line team handles complex escalations from our first-line group and manages change projects that impact all our global clients.

Client Services account teams manage the technical relationship with clients, responsible and accountable for the service provided to a set of clients within geographic regions. The account teams ensure the client’s service operates within a set of KPIs and make necessary adjustments to maintain service quality. They collaborate with our clients to adapt received services to meet the evolving requirements of the investment management industry. Together with our sales and management teams, the account team conducts regular service reviews with clients to reinforce our value proposition, offer industry insights, and identify opportunities to address client challenges.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Support the suite of Rimes products and services.
  • Provide customers with key information and analytical solutions.
  • Support performance attribution analysis.
  • Assist in risk management and compliance.
  • Aid in portfolio management.
  • Ensure service delivery aligns with KPIs.
  • Escalate issues to the 2nd Line Support group when necessary.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Have knowledge and understanding of equity and fixed income indices.
  • Work experience in the financial data industry would be considered a plus
  • Possess effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with, querying, and manipulating large datasets.
  • Sound working knowledge of financial spreadsheets, databases, and applications.
  • Have experience with handling and writing logic to query data from different databases
  • High proficiency with MS Excel.
