The Role
Company:Mercer

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Career Consulting Team at Mercer. This role will be based in Melbourne or Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

For decades, Mercer has held a dominant position in employee engagement and employee experience (EE/EX). This has been further amplified in 2024 through the global transition of Kincentric’s employee engagement business into Mercer, together with its legacy-Aon / Aon Hewitt engagement models, frameworks, methods, benchmarks and rich IP. Through this transition, Mercer is now the pre-eminent provider of employee engagement solutions globally, with the largest normative database (set of benchmarks) in the market.

To fuel our continued growth in the Pacific, our Employee Engagement & Experience Solutions team is seeking a bright and ambitious Graduate Analyst, Employee Engagement & Experience. You will join a high-performing team with deep expertise in employee engagement that is delivering a broad selection of EE/EX projects, covering amongst others: listening strategy; survey design and delivery; analysis and hypothesis development; board, executive and P&C debriefs; focus groups; and post-survey governance, action planning and activation.

We will count on you to:

  • Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and present solutions, while supporting the development of proposals and statements of work that align with project objectives, deliverables, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and COE/operations teams in Singapore, India, and Poland to leverage expertise and resources for project implementation.
  • Manage and update sales materials, including case studies and proposals, and support effective project management to ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines.
  • Design workshops and surveys, review internal and client data to develop insights, and contribute to strategic recommendations.
  • Engage in project reporting by creating impactful client presentations and facilitating findings across various forums, such as workshops and webinars

What you need to have:

  • A strong interest in consulting, ideally with prior exposure to consulting.
  • Experience in deriving insights from qualitative and quantitative data and presenting findings.
  • The ability to understand, synthesise and articulate key elements of a project or similar piece of work.
  • Comfortable with, and adept at, presenting findings to others.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Detailed, logical and methodical working style.
  • Self-driven and confident.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and build relationships.
  • A passion for growing yourself and performing to a high standard.

What makes you stand out:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field – HR, Organisational Psychology, Business/Commerce
  • Proficiency in engagement tool platforms as well as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in employee engagement and data analysis.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.

Applications will only be considered from candidates who have the appropriate approval to work in Australia. Successful applicants will be required to complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to commencement of employment.
