Job Description: Intel is looking for talented GPU Software engineers to be part of system management driver and tools development. As GPU software engineer, you role will include but not limited to tool development for interacting with firmware and drivers for monitoring and configuring the system in Band and Out of Band methods and GPU topology support, further, metrics aggregation and visualization across cluster and integration with open source cluster level management tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience-OR - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 3+ years of relevant experience-OR - Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and 1+ years of relevant experience Candidate must have
5+ years of experience with all the following:
- Developing system software and tools, C++, Python, Scripting, web-based programming, OS concepts such as Virtual memory/caches, Linux Debugging (GDB/seg fault/mem leak) etc.
- Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out: Experience with GPU programming and system management tools.
- Familiarity with open-source projects and specifications such as IPMI , openRMC, openBMC, Redfish API.
- Familiarity with open source projects such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
- Familiarity with REST APIsKnowledge of a GPU API's such as CUDA, OpenCL, ROCm, oneAPI Level Zero or SYCL .
- Experience with Linux/Windows Operating system architecture.
- Experience with HPC, AI and/or ML software.
- Familiarity on CI/validation/Jenkins/Test case development.
