- Identify and qualify federal contracting opportunities through SAM.gov, agency forecasts, industry events, and partner networks.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects across targeted agencies and contract vehicles.
- Conduct outreach to federal program offices, contracting officers, and prime contractors to introduce company capabilities and explore teaming opportunities.
- Support capture and proposal development, including gathering requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and contributing to proposal content.
- Maintain CRM records, track opportunity status, and prepare regular pipeline and activity reports.
- Assist in developing sales strategies for targeted agencies and contract vehicles.
- Represent the company at industry days, conferences, and networking events to build brand presence and relationships.
- Collaborate with Business Development to refine capability statements, presentations, and outreach materials.
- Monitor federal procurement trends and provide insights to leadership on competitive positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in sales, business development, government contracting, or a related field (internships and part‑time experience welcome).
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to learn the federal acquisition process (FAR, contract vehicles, procurement cycles).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with or selling to federal agencies.
- Familiarity with SAM.gov, GovWin, or similar market‑research tools.
- Understanding of common federal contract vehicles (GSA MAS, IDIQs, BPAs).
- Prior experience supporting proposals or capture activities.
- Base Salary: Up to $70,000, depending on experience.
- Commission: Competitive structure tied to qualified pipeline development and closed opportunities.
- Performance Bonus: Annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
