About The Role

We’re passionate about evolving our visual language that has been honed over the years.As a UX Illustrator at GoPay, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our characters to life and enhancing our visual storytelling. Your illustrations will be featured across our mobile apps, landing pages, advertisements, blog posts, videos, social media, and beyond. Your creative work will help drive GoPay’s brand and mission forward, transforming the future of fintech in Indonesia.In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product and Marketing teams to ensure consistency in illustrations both online and offline. You’ll tackle the challenge of translating users' perspectives into clear, delightful visuals, engaging in discussions and brainstorming sessions with various stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to craft high-quality, user-friendly experiences that resonate with users across Indonesia.Are you ready to join us and make a difference in the world of fintech?
What You Will Do
- Create illustrations that resonate with target audiences with good visual design understanding.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across the GoPay ecosystem.
- Manage and update our illustration library to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering teams throughout the design process.
- Proactively seek and incorporate feedback to ensure high standards and bug-free solutions.
What You Will Need
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX illustration/advertising/design industry, with familiarity in 2D illustrations. Animation skills are a plus.
- Has had experience in collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Possess a good knowledge of drawing fundamentals such as layout, color, composition, and creative thinking in order to develop their illustration output.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite softwares (specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects) and Figma. Knowledge about 3D softwares is a plus.
- Great communication skills both in English and Indonesian. (both verbal and written)

As part of the GoPay Design Team, UX Illustrators play a crucial role in bringing our visual identity to life. We handle everything from crafting new illustrations to maintaining our extensive library, always striving to add delight to the GoPay app and our daily work.
