Goods In Operative – Permanent Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Goods in Operative role on a Permanent Full-Time basis in Value Centre Ennis.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Manage the receipt of all incoming goods, utilising in-house computer system

• Flexibility to multitask and work within the role including working in Chilled & Frozen area’s

• Accuracy and attention to deal is a key requirement

• Stock control duties – Rotation & Stocktakes

• Process stock returns, damaged stock and out of date products

• Maintaining the area and keeping it clean and tidy

• Assisting customers

• Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date

• Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety, Health & Safety and Security requirements

• Other associated duties as requested by your manager

The successful candidate should have:

• Good organisational and time management abilities

• Be a highly motivated individual, who takes initiative with minimal supervision

• Be dedicated and flexible

• Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment

• Have Reach and Counterbalance forklift driving experience and hold an up-to-date operator’s certificate preferred but not essential

• A professional approach to their work and dealing with colleagues, management, and business partners

• The ability to work with and adhere to standard operating procedures

• A strong awareness of health and safety & food safety requirements
