Goods In Administrator

PURPOSE 
The purpose of this work instruction is to outline the responsibilities of Goods in Administrators for managing goods-in activities in the warehouse, in accordance with SOP-33-003 Goods in Procedure (Greenogue 2). This work instruction applies to all goods received across Uniphar Supply Chain and Retail facilities using SAP EWM. It outlines how ambient, controlled drugs and refrigerated deliveries are overseen by Goods in Administrators. 

Goods In Administrators are responsible for:

•    Providing delivery slots to suppliers/ MAHs.
•    Ensuring that SF-33-009 Goods-In Log (Greenogue 2) is complete.
•    Ensuring that the temperature trace is provided by the driver prior to the delivery being unloaded.
•    Informing warehouse operatives of the arrival or expected arrival of a fridge order.
•    Advising drivers what bay to go to on arrival.
•    Verifying delivery of stock against paperwork (ICG) and compare ICG with the packing list.
•    Recording any discrepancies or issues with a delivery as a Goods-In Non-Conformance (GINC) and notifying the supplier/Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH).

The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company’s main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO’s and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.
