We’re hiring our first GM of Talent Acquisition to build and scale a world-class recruiting engine that looks more like a growth team than a traditional talent function. This role is hybrid by design: you’ll operate first as a builder IC and eventually as a leader of a high-leverage team.
What you'll do:Scaling founder-led hiring into a repeatable motion: Turn our high-velocity founder-owned sourcing into a systemized TA function that works across every role at AirOps.
Transforming hiring into revenue: productize our Content Engineer hiring process into a new line of business that helps place content engineers within our customer organizations.
Building then scaling a team: Start as a hands-on builder; once you’ve proven the playbook, hire and grow a lean, high-performing team.
Designing an AI-powered sourcing engine: Leverage tools like Juicebox, Clay, and next-gen AI sourcing platforms to consistently identify and attract 10x talent.
Creating compounding talent density: Build a TA flywheel that doesn’t just fill roles but amplifies our brand, creates buzz in-market, and attracts customers alongside talent.
This is not an ordinary talent acquisition role. It’s part-talent, part-growth, part-product, and part-brand.
Who You AreYou’ve operated in fast-scaling environments where there was a war for 99%-ile talent
You’re comfortable running outbound sourcing campaigns and designing scalable systems
You think like a builder and operator first, not just a recruiter
You are excited to build a public brand for yourself and for AirOps' talent function on (but not limited to) LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Youtube, and TikTok
You have a knock for using AI to drive leverage in your work, and want to pioneer new ways of finding, attracting, and evaluating top talent
You've been deeply involved in recruiting at previous startups but might come from a growth, sales, engineering, product, or BizOps background
