Elanco Global Treasury is the guardian of financial stability and the architect of strategic financial planning. This team will both develop and execute Elanco’s Treasury strategy by focusing on technology, governance, controls, processes, banking partnerships and internal business relationships. This position will focus on the intercompany loan management, cashpool solutions and daily operations support. Key Objectives and Deliverables:
- Being an Administrator for relationship banks website portals (managing users` accesses, groups, transactional limits, tokens and issues, working with banks to add additional services, trouble shooting)
- Participate as Preparer in SOX Controls related to Bank Portal Access Roster Review (#CORP.TRE.RCM.002: Access to bank portals is monitored to ensure users have appropriate access for 3 regional banks - JPM Access, BNP Connexis, CitiDirect)
- Update Treasury POs annually or ad hoc. Submit Invoices from vendors who do not use Ariba
- Support RCMs as needed with opening/closing bank accounts at 3 regional banks along with related testing and system set-up
- Assess, monitor, and resolve exceptional banking issues, payments rejections across the region, based on varying sovereign regulatory or customer requirements (ESC, affiliates, banks)
- Daily understanding of EMEA cashpool positions/ operations
- Administration of IC supporting documents (agreements, addendums, interest letters, etc.)
- Support monthly and annual reporting activities (interest dashboard, BNPP balances reconciliation in GTr, Liquidity reporting, C12 credit facilities)
- Supports internal and external auditors during audits and other data inquiries
- Cross-trainings on other aspects of Treasury Services and provides back-up to these functions when needed (GTreasury User Administration)
- Perform other function-related activities in addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements that enhance efficiencies, improve controls and lower cost
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in Corporate Treasury, banking, capital markets or shared service center environment
- Proficient in English is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Openness/strong interpersonal and communication skills needed to work successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, external creditors and regulators
- Ability to proactively & effectively resolve process and technology problems
- Ability to work independently, form own judgments/opinions, provide insights and drive change
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven ability to learn quickly
- Persistent attention to detail, a high sense of ownership and commitment to effectively prioritize and complete key tasks and deliverables
Additional Preferences:
- Corporate Cash Management or banking experience
- Experience with Treasury technology such as TMS and banking portals
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus
