JOB SUMMARY

The Global Training Coordinator is a supportive and hands-on role assisting the Global Training team in the coordination, development, and delivery of training programs across the organization in various formats including eLearning content authoring, curation and management. This role helps gather training needs, supports content creation, manages logistics, and ensures smooth execution of learning initiatives. It also involves hands on learning of departmental processes and systems in order to better design and deliver training as well as maintaining training records, collecting feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in conducting training needs assessments by gathering data and training requests.
  • Support the design and development of training materials and resources in multiple formats including eLearning software and other content authoring tools.
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, including scheduling, communication, and logistics.
  • Take part in training in various business areas to better support and train in those areas, including some on the floor experience.
  • Maintain training databases and track participation and completion.
  • Collect and compile feedback to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Provide administrative support to trainers and the Head of Global Training.
  • Help ensure consistency in training standards and documentation.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 
 

  • 3+ years office work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office with a desire to learn other systems and software 
  • Strong analytical skills and impeccable attention to detail with the ability to provide simple solutions to complex challenges. 
  • A passion for learning and development and an eagerness to learn more about these areas in a corporate setting.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to present information clearly and succinctly in an engaging fashion with strong customer service ethics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives as necessary demonstrating effective project management skills. 
  • Positive approach and an openness to new experiences and learning opportunities across the business.

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Experience in operations in travel and/or health insurance, or customer service roles
  • Experience of designing, creating and delivering training for customer facing staff
