We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Global Training Coordinator to support the training departments. This role will oversee the training program, reporting to the Director of Global Service, as part of the Customer Service department within the API business unit. The API business unit manufactures the Valmet Maxum Gas Chromatograph, System Integration projects, and provides support for Valmet API analytical products.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing department processes for efficiency and improvement.
- Developing the training class schedules and working with online training tools.
- Ensuring that training has supplies for upcoming classes and managing training inventory.
- Answering customer questions regarding how to sign up, schedule, and pay for training.
- Assists with quotes for custom on-site classes and working with Field Service/Training to schedule.
- Tracks training locations and paperwork for classes.
- Opens training service orders in Infor LN, collects and tracks data for department KPIs.
- Invoices training classes and custom on-site training classes
- Global coordination of service, training, and technical documentation
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills required – phone, email, and face to face
- Microsoft Office proficiency and general computer skills
- Emphasis on Excel - manipulating Infor LN/Power BI reports into Excel format; V-lookup experience, merging multiple tables. Ability to analyze the excel reports in effort to identify trends, changes, and possible effects on the business unit. Use the analysis as needed to assist with possible improvements to the process or system
- ERP / Infor LN experience
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Business)
- 5 years Industry / Analytical Experience
- Extensive knowledge of finance, invoicing, and back-office processes
- API product line knowledge, general business knowledge
