The Team

The Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in enabling S&P Global's strategy by attracting, assessing, and hiring exceptional talent globally. The Market Intelligence and Chief Commercial Office (CCO) Talent Acquisition team partners closely with business leaders to deliver talent strategies that support growth, transformation, and long-term workforce objectives.

This role leads a global organization of Talent Acquisition leaders and recruiters supporting both the Market Intelligence and Chief Commercial Office portfolios. The successful candidate will help shape the future of Talent Acquisition at S&P Global through strong leadership, deep business partnership, AI-enabled recruiting capabilities, and a relentless focus on continuous improvement.


Responsibilities and Impact

  • Lead and develop a global organization of Talent Acquisition leaders and recruiters, building a high-performing, highly engaged team capable of delivering against current and future business needs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders, providing insights on talent markets, talent availability, hiring strategies, organizational growth, and competitive talent trends.
  • Partner closely with Market Intelligence and Chief Commercial Office leadership teams, People Partners, Compensation, Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Finance, Technology, and enterprise Talent Acquisition teams to deliver integrated talent solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Champion the adoption of AI, automation, talent intelligence, and emerging recruiting technologies to improve hiring outcomes, recruiter productivity, and stakeholder experience.
  • Drive innovative talent attraction strategies that strengthen S&P Global's ability to compete for top talent across technology, data, commercial, leadership, and emerging talent hiring.
  • Leverage talent market intelligence, pipeline analytics, hiring trends, and business demand signals to anticipate talent risks, guide decision-making, prioritize investments, and improve hiring quality, speed, and stakeholder outcomes.
  • Partner with Talent Management and broader People teams to align recruiting strategies with skills priorities, leadership hiring, internal mobility, succession planning, and broader talent objectives.
  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives focused on Talent Acquisition transformation, process simplification, technology adoption, skills-based hiring, and operational excellence.
  • Help shape the future operating model of Talent Acquisition by identifying opportunities to evolve how we work, leverage technology, and deliver greater value to the business.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $126,676 to $221,434. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. 


In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We're Looking For


Basic Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success leading Talent Acquisition teams in a complex, global environment.
  • Proven experience leading, developing and coaching recruiters to build strong succession pipelines.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and establishing credibility with business leaders.
  • Experience using talent intelligence, market insights, and data-driven decision making to shape hiring strategies and business outcomes.
  • Proven track record of leveraging AI tools (e.g., Spark, Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies) to drive productivity, improve decision-making, and enhance Talent Acquisition outcomes.

  • Strategic thinker who can connect business priorities, talent needs, and recruiting strategies to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition transformation, operating model redesign, or large-scale change initiatives.
  • Experience implementing or scaling recruiting technologies, talent intelligence platforms, CRM solutions, AI tools, or automation capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of skills-based hiring, talent intelligence, labor market trends, and evolving workforce dynamics.
  • Experience operating within highly matrixed global organizations and partnering with multiple stakeholder groups.
