The Role

Position Title: Global Service Director - Manufacturing

Location: This is a Virtual role to be based in the US

Overview

  • Blue Yonder Customer Success group is seeking a Global Services Director with strong account management and customer relationship skills in the Manufacturing / GSD line of business
  • We value individuals with a desire to implement cutting edge AI/ML based SaaS solutions and a strong sense of urgency when faced with obstacles
  • The ability to quickly build trust and establish strong relationships with customer’s C-Suite on large transformational programs is a must

Scope

  • Core responsibilities include ownership of Strategic Accounts to drive a combination of ongoing sales and successful delivery of Blue Yonder solutions within the Discrete Manufacturing sector

What you will do:

  • Responsible for high-level relationship management by acting as a key liaison and becoming a trusted advisor with assigned client(s) in proving industry expertise, implementation guidance and thought leadership
  • Integrates into the clients infrastructure and promotes professional relations with client from C-level executives to key operational personnel
  • Owns (3 - 4) client relationships/accounts value at a minimum of $7 - 10 M annual bookings
  • Works to grow the client relationship by identifying new sales opportunities and bringing them to close (Sales AM would be assigned to active Software sales opportunities in support of the GSD)
  • Builds Strategic Plan with Key Clients to leverage Blue Yonder Solutions
  • Develops and presents a strategic supply vision that communicates key value propositions
  • Engages with the Blue Yonder team to develop client proposal documents, negotiate Statement of Work(s) / business terms, define project structure with partner firms, and build account communication plans
  • Ensures account team adheres to Blue Yonder policies, procedures, methodologies and quality standards
  • Ensures that Blue Yonder Solutions deliver the value/ROI expected of the engagement, including quality, budget, and timelines
  • Owns the Blue Yonder account related project issues, and the issue escalation to the appropriate groups within Blue Yonder
  • Responsible for establishing the client as a reference for Blue Yonder

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, Supply chain or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams
  • Strong understanding of business operations and processes
  • Ability to think strategically and drive results
  • Strong services delivery management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of the consulting industry, specifically in supply chain planning and execution
  • Experience working with clients in multiple industries.
  • Own services sales process from including but not limited to identification, Contract setup and tracking in Salesforce, negotiation, contract generation and closing

The annual salary range for this role is $164,000 - $204,000.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
