Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Define and manage the development of enterprise standards, direction/roadmap for Sandoz platforms
Manage efforts to elaborate and communicate the architecture of the platform and/or development of architectural solutions for projects and programs
Lead efforts to identify innovative and creative approaches to solve business and IT problems to accelerate business outcomes
Improve and develop enterprise architecture standards and methods
Oversee architectural activities for related Sandoz platforms (excluding Integration platforms and SAP) and enhance domain solution architectures
Define and communicate architecture roadmaps, standards, and strategic direction for platforms in scope
Define and develop logical design and information management strategies to store, move, and manage data in alignment with data architecture standards
Utilize architecture patterns to ensure optimal platform utilization aligned with enterprise architecture strategy
Define, create, and evolve the Architecture Governance Framework (methods, processes, standards, documentation)
Understand and advocate business and IT strategies; lead communication, education, and adoption of architecture practices across stakeholders
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Completeness, adequacy, and correctness of enterprise and domain architecture
Strategy and landscape alignment with platform owners
Complete and documented architecture and required patterns
Operational and cost efficiency
Key stakeholder trainings
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
Essential Requirements:
8 Plus years' Experience in broader IT and enterprise/domain architecture roles, ideally within pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Deep understanding of platform principles and enterprise architecture methods enabling transformation and adoption
Proven experience developing and implementing architecture frameworks in large-scale deployments
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (TOGAF, Zachman, LeanIX, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence senior stakeholders
Experience working across global teams and diverse cultures
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving change in regulated environments
Strong experience in defining architecture roadmaps, governance, and platform strategies
