This Position reports to:
Segment Manager
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team and lead sales efforts for the Motion High Power portfolio in the emerging shore power systems market. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and driving growth to meet sales, market share, and profitability goals. Working closely with ABB’s Local Sales Units, you will map the global market, identify and prioritize key accounts, and drive coordinated commercial actions across regions.
Travelling is required up to 30% for this position.

Preferred locations: Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey
You will be mainly accountable for:
Sales Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a focused sales strategy to drive top-line revenue, capture market share in shore power, and meet ambitious growth targets; analyze market dynamics, identify key players, and create actionable sales plans
Customer & Market Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver tailored products and business models
Project & Performance Management: Identify major projects and target accounts, monitor sales pipeline and performance metrics, and participate in negotiations of legal and commercial agreements
Team Development & Communication: Develop a high-performing network, ensure clear communication of ABB’s value proposition, and enhance ABB’s visibility through market segment communication and trade fair participation
Qualifications for the role:
Proven experience with System Integration, OEM and/or EPC market in Marine, Infrastructure and/or Industrial segments.
Demonstrated track record of driving sales and market expansion in a business development or sales role.
University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
Experience in working in a multinational matrix organization with excellent networking and communication skills
Strong business acumen, influencing skills, and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
