About the job
We are seeking a candidate for the role of Global Quality Manager in BU GPHE, with the purpose of leading and advancing our quality strategy activities, projects, and processes to enhance our customer offerings.
Within the BU GPHE (Gasketed Plated Heat Exchangers) with a footprint of 8 factories, you will contribute to the development of the Quality Strategy to build Quality mindset and competences in alignment with Alfa Laval Strategy/Policies.
You will also drive, promote and coordinate activities/projects and standardization, promote and manage continuous improvement projects/activities within Quality
Key responsibilities for this role will be as per the areas below:
Coordinate Quality activities across factories and sites.
Represent management on Quality topics, internally and externally.
Drive and support in Crisis Management
Drive continuous improvement by coaching problem-solving and tracking progress.
Ensure compliance with market/customer standards (ASME, Nuclear, etc.).
Manage quality processes and KPIs.
Oversee training and competence development.
Maintain SOPs and working instructions
The position reports to the VP Operations BU GPHE with a dotted line to the BU President.

You have a proven track record working with quality in an international environment. You possess a delivery-oriented mindset combined with the confidence to make things happen. You challenge the status quo with bold ideas and structured execution, and your success stems from a disciplined approach combined with the ability to communicate clearly and engage others.
We believe you are a true networker that can naturally build relationships and influence across functions, effortlessly motivating not only your own team but also other departments to adopt best practices and continuous improvement.
What you know
You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field combined with a proven track record of working experience within quality. We trust you have been working in an international environment and have extensive experience in bringing quality improvements in an industrial / manufacturing environment. Ideally, you’ve held managerial or functional leadership roles in a matrix organization. Excellent written and spoken English is essential for success in this global role.
Lean Six Sigma knowledge and black belt certification is an advantage for this role.
