Quality Assurance Manager
For our Global Quality Assurance team at Abbott Logistics, we are looking for a QA Manager.
The Quality Assurance team (5 FTE), which is part of the Abbott Logistics Global Quality and Compliance team, is responsible for supporting the execution of Quality Hold, reporting lot traceability, monitoring training compliance, validation tasks, reviewing/handling batch records, and investigating distribution complaints and corrective actions. This position is based in Breda.
What are you responsible for?

Leading the quality organization to support the ALOG Breda organization and associated facilities.

Maintaining the site Food Safety Program and quality procedures, providing quality support for strategic initiatives, and achieving performance indicators.

Leading and managing internal and external audits on-site and responsible for the associated corrective actions.

Supplier qualification and audit management:
-
Reviewing and evaluating new suppliers, drafting and approving Quality Agreements, and overseeing audit schedules and performance of these suppliers.

Monitoring quality improvements resulting from audit observations, storage or distribution deviations, temperature excursions, relevant registrations and certifications, and risk assessments.

Approving quality records for RCA/CAPA:

Approving documentation regarding deviations through the divisional Trackwise process.

Leading the Product Action Office.

Developing strategy for the department and leading the continuous improvement process.

Collaborating with Site Operations & Customer Service, Division Quality, Division Logistics, Manufacturing Plants, Division Customer Operations, Affiliates, Regulatory, Commercial, Procurement, external suppliers, and government agencies (ISO/COKZ/NVWA).
What knowledge and experience do you bring?
-
A bachelor's or master's degree in Health, Chemistry, Biomedical, Food Technology, Life Sciences, or Engineering is desired.

Fluent in English (Dutch would be a plus).

At least 5-7 years of experience in Quality Compliance and CAPA, experience as Auditor/Auditee, and experience with storage/distribution.

3-5 years of managerial experience.

Knowledge of all laws and regulations and guidelines related to distribution in the medical/food industry plus extensive knowledge of quality systems and GxP.

Knowledge and work experience in engineering, supply chain and logistics, material management, production and VAL activities, engineering, informatics, quality control, quality assurance, and regulations.
