Global Product Manager - Respiratory Therapies

This role belongs to Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC), which provides therapies and technologies for sleep apnea and respiratory conditions. SRC helps patients manage chronic conditions and avoid hospital readmissions, improving quality of life worldwide. The position is based in Pune, a center for innovation and collaboration.

As the Global Product Manager in Business Category, you will support the Category’s product strategy, product requirements for product, solution, and services development, launch, and life-cycle management, or their enhancements, driven by global and local market needs, a deep understanding of customer needs and commercial success criteria. Products are made up of equipment and/or software applications and/or services and/or accessories and disposables.

You are responsible for

  • Assisting in defining, launching, and building profitable products, solutions, and platforms that improve people’s lives.

  • Supporting the Life Cycle Management for the existing portfolio from start to end, including identifying opportunities to extend the lifecycle.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the domain, with the ability to clearly convey key messages to cross-functional partners.

  • Assisting the project team in the execution phase of engineering or design-related changes.

  • Being the Voice of the Customer and Patient within the development team, defining requirements, and driving alignment of business and feature/function prioritization to maximize the value proposition.

  • Obtaining global customer requirements and product specifications via market analysis and ongoing communication with key internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of the customers and patients and a thorough understanding of the global marketplace.

  • Interacting on a regular basis with our marketing teams in key markets to ensure successful management of devices that fit with the local market needs.

  • Maintaining and evolving key marketing documents and communications to set expectations and enable successful alignment.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management or engineering-related field

  • 8+ Years of over all experience in industry working in similar domain and environment. .

  • A highly motivated and positive-minded individual with a passion for improving lives.

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in product management, marketing, operations, or sales.

  • Experience in product development and management.

  • Knowledge of marketing processes, strategic planning, and budgeting.

  • Ability to network and influence in a global organization.

  • Comfortable working across cultures.

  • Strong decision-making skills based on market and customer feedback.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and globally.
