This position reports to:
Procurement Manager Process Excellence, Digital Transformation & Reporting__
In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the business(es) and for executing assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures.
Core responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Stakeholder: Lead procurement projects with a strong focus on eProcurement and process optimization. Act as a key representative of Global Procurement in cross-functional business initiatives.
Change Management & Training: Drive change management activities to support successful adoption of new processes and tools. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user capabilities and ensure smooth implementation.
Information Management: Create, maintain, and manage information for internal and external stakeholders through platforms such as SharePoint and the ABB Intranet.
Strategic Evaluation of New Projects & Tools: Plan and evaluate strategic initiatives related to Procurement Excellence and Digital Transformation in close collaboration with the Global Procurement Leadership Team.
Further tasks within Process Excellence, Digital Transformation & Reporting (PEDT&R) Team: Drive and support PEDT&R initiatives, including License to Operate topics, administrative activities, and execution of compliance controls.
Key qualifications:
~3-5 years of professional experience in Information Systems or Procurement with strong technical understanding
Solid understanding of project management fundamentals; advanced expertise is a plus
Solid knowledge of SAP MM; familiarity with other eProcurement tools is a plus; SAP customizing experience is a plus
Strong communication skills in German and English (both mandatory)
Highly organized and structured work approach, with strong attention to detail
Open-minded, eager to learn, and resilient mindset
The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3 775.27 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2025. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
