Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Procurement Manager to lead the company’s global procurement operations for advanced electronic systems and power supply solutions within the defense industry.

This role is responsible for defining and executing the company’s global procurement strategy, leading international procurement teams, standardizing procurement processes across global sites, managing strategic suppliers worldwide, and ensuring the availability of critical electronic components in compliance with military standards and defense regulations.

The position requires close collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support business growth, operational excellence, and supply chain resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead global procurement teams across multiple international sites.

Drive process alignment, professional development, and implementation of procurement best practices.

Manage local and global buyers within a matrix organizational structure.

Develop and execute long-term global sourcing and procurement strategies.

Conduct market analysis, supplier risk assessments, and capacity planning.

Build and maintain a global procurement roadmap focused on component standardization, cost reduction initiatives, supply continuity, and improved component availability.

Work closely with Engineering teams to support technical specification reviews, component selection, and BOM management.

Partner with Quality teams on supplier qualification and audits, SCAR management, and compliance with military and defense standards.

Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations on material planning, inventory management, and lead-time improvement initiatives.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in Israel and globally within the fields of electronics, power supplies, and military-grade components.

Lead supplier qualification processes in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams.

Manage supplier performance through global KPIs.

Build and maintain a strategic supplier base aligned with company objectives.

Lead complex global negotiations to achieve commercial and operational advantages.

Manage international contracts and supplier agreements in accordance with defense regulations and import/export compliance requirements.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in electronics procurement, including power supply components.

Significant experience in global sourcing and international procurement team leadership.

Proven experience working with defense industries and military standards.

Experience in supplier qualification and supplier quality management.

High proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Priority – an advantage).

Fluent English — written and spoken.

Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing remote global teams.

Excellent ability to work across multiple interfaces and multicultural environments.


Skills Required

  • 7+ years of experience in electronics procurement including power supply components
  • Significant experience in global sourcing and international procurement team leadership
  • Proven experience working with defense industries and military standards
  • Experience in supplier qualification and supplier quality management
  • High proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Priority - an advantage)
  • Fluent English, written and spoken
