As Global Procurement - Data, Insights and Digital Lead within our Procurement Excellence & Strategy team, your primary focus is to develop, align, and implement the Procurement Analytics, Technology, and Insights Roadmap, grounded in robust data foundations.
This role enables Procurement Analytics for Performance, category strategy, ESG, and other procurement objectives, while fostering procurement team capability enablement in analytics to excel in an FMCH environment. Success in this role hinges on collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and continuously refining, disrupting, and simplifying tools/processes as needed. You possess resilience for driving simplified solutions, along with openness and a spirit of continuous improvement. With a clear understanding and mindset to drive high adoption of digital tools with buyers/users, you enable seamless solutions for procurement performance and strategic activities, ultimately positioning Opella procurement as the best in the FMCH.
As part of the challenger and game changer mindset, your ability to work closely with the stakeholders and to adjust the ways of working, disrupt, when needed, the processes is instrumental to his/her success.
Main responsibilities:
1. Strategic

Roadmap Ownership: Adapt, Develop & implement the Procurement Data, Insights, and Digital Roadmap to support procurement business plans and performance targets.

Digital Autonomy Leadership: Aligned with the Opella Digital Transformation roadmap, lead the collaboration from Opella Procurement.

Stakeholder Partnering: Collaborate closely with Procurement leadership (CPO, Domains, Performance team) and transversal functions (Digital/IT, Finance Performance, Master Data, etc.) to prioritize and execute high-value use-cases.

Standalone Journey: Monitor organizational digital transformation plan and adjust products to maintain continuity of procurement analytics and performance processes. Ensure continuous availability of the Procurement Analytics platform.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of 2 data / digital product experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
2. Operational

Product Management: Optimize features of procurement analytics tools to align with business needs and ensure they are fit for purpose for Opella procurement analytical needs such as COGS materials performance and forecasting, spend analytics.

Data Stewardship: Ensure high-quality data availability in the Procurement platform by collaborating with the master data streams. Simplify and harmonize taxonomy, data fields, visualization, and KPIs.

User Adoption: Provide and update user manuals, training, and troubleshooting support. Assess and improve ease of use and user adoption of procurement analytics tools.

Market Insights: Provide market insights to procurement categories to support strategic decision-making.
3. Digital Innovation

Innovation Projects: Continuously innovate and explore new ways of working to enhance procurement analytics and insights.

Budget Optimization: Maintain a sense of budget optimization while managing digital initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Connect the dots with different data streams, ensuring use-cases are managed effectively. Liaise with Digital for product and budget governance.

Procurement Ambassador: Build rapport and secure buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders such as Procurement, Digital, Finance, Procurement Performance and Analytics teams, and others for major new procurement technologies & initiatives.
About you
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in procurement, data analytics. Strong hands-on knowledge of Financial / Material Procurement systems and processes - Such as ERPs, P2P tools.

Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and a deep understanding of digital technologies in Procurement space.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to communicate complex things in a simpler manner.

Strong orientation towards listening to stakeholders & continuous improvement mindset.

English fluent
