Job Summary: 
Accountable for the Record to Report (RtR) process and enterprise Master Data domains (Finance, Customer, Vendor, Material) within GBS.
Responsible to design and govern end-to-end RtR processes and Master Data lifecycle (creation, change, governance, quality), and to lead and deliver a portfolio of global transformation initiatives across process, systems, and data.
Drives standardization, control, and efficiency, ensures data integrity for financial and operational processes, and collaborates across Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain to deliver business outcomes.
 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process & Data Ownership

  • Own end-to-end RtR process and enterprise Master Data governance framework

  • Define and maintain global process and data standards, ownership model, and controls

  • Ensure alignment of Master Data across Finance, Customer, Vendor, and Material domains

  • Act as primary point of accountability for process integrity and data quality impacting financial reporting

Project & Transformation Leadership

  • Own and manage global portfolio of RtR and Master Data transformation initiatives

  • Lead delivery of strategic programs (ERP initiatives, automation, data governance, harmonization, centralization)

  • Define priorities, business cases, and implementation roadmap aligned with GBS and Finance strategy

  • Ensure delivery of measurable outcomes (cost, quality, control, scalability)

  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across Finance, O2C, P2P, and Supply Chain

  • Ensure strong project governance, risk management, and escalation

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and monitor KPIs for: 

    • Process performance (cycle time, cost, efficiency)

    • Master Data quality (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) across all domains

  • Drive continuous improvement based on performance insights

  • Track project delivery and benefits realization

Governance & Operating Model

  • Define global operating model for RtR and cross-functional Master Data

  • Align ownership across GBS, Corporate, and business functions

  • Enforce standards through governance mechanisms and stakeholder management

  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and control requirements (incl. SOX where applicable)

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain leaders to align on process and data ownership

  • Drive adoption of global standards and data governance principles

  • Resolve cross-functional conflicts related to process or data decisions

  • Report performance, risks, and transformation progress to senior leadership

Transformation & Go-Live Readiness

  • Ensure readiness of RtR and Master Data for system implementations and business transitions

  • Oversee data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation

  • Ensure cross-domain data dependencies are managed (customer, vendor, material impacting financial postings)
     

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Experience in GBS / SSC / BPO environment 
  • 8+ years in RtR process ownership roles with strong exposure to Master Data governance 
  • Proven track record leading large-scale global transformation programs 
  • Strong experience in: 
  • Process design and standardization
  • Master Data management across Finance, Customer, Vendor, Material
  • SAP experience required, including relevant Master Data domains 
  • Experience in automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement programs 
  • Understanding of financial controls and impact on reporting
